Saline Removal Aftercare

Immediately after the procedure, the area will look extremely raw and red. This excessive redness typically subsides within 2-3 days. After which point you will likely start to have scabbing. The scabbing usually takes 10-12 days to fall off naturally for clients with healthy, un-compromised skin.

  • You need to let the area breathe after the procedure.

  • Do not wet/wash the treated area, or apply any ointments or creams.

  • Blot the area three times a day with a saline-dampened paper towel until scabs start to form.

  • Once the area has scabbed over, allow the scabs to fall off naturally.

  • Once all of the scabs have fallen off, apply Vitamin E oil to the area 3-4 times a day for a minimum of 4 weeks.
